Nathan Vitale is originally from Kent, Ohio. He is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design, Columbus, Ohio.

   Nathan is currently a graphic design artist at Bath and Body Works headquarters in Columbus.

   Beginning with a great interest in drawing detailed dinosaurs at a very early age, Nate has developed a clean use of intense color and ability to add human expression to all creatures. His talent for creating lovely and interesting environments in an illustration was well known to the author, as they have been family friends since Nate was born. Hazel said she knew as she was typing the first story, INCH WORM GOES A MILE, that Nathan was the right illustrator for Inchy.

   As well as his work at BBW, Nathan has completed several murals in the Columbus area, and is developing further illustrations as a free lance artist.
